I want to recut/reshape the (1/2 x 3 1/2)" pine pickets on a fence. What tool would be good at that task?
I have a jigsaw and a rotozip and a skill saw and a dremel and a recip saw. Which one and with which blade/attachment would be best suited for this task, or which one I don't have maybe?
Jigsaw if the piece will fit in the throat of it. if not skill saw. Don't use reciprocator (sawz-all) too hard to control on fine work.
I'd use the coarsest blade that gives you a cut you are happy with, as the work will go faster that way. Do a few test cuts with a medium, coarse and fine wood blade and see which one does a good enough job and how fast it cuts. Be sure to get some extra blades as you will break some if you are cutting a lot of pieces.
