Any current or former MIT students out there please answer?
I am looking into applying to MIT, and wanted to know a little bit about the typical student credentials, such as GPA and what set you apart from the rest of the applicants, I have spoken to many MIT students in person about this but their accomplishments before collage just seem too hard for any one person to do (own a small business and get straight As with 3+ AP courses)
I know a few people who went to MIT. MIT and Cal Tech are less about extracurricular than the Ivies. Numbers, numbers, numbers. You probably want to be top 1-2% of your class and have around a 99% SAT to consider applying to MIT.
